The preventive health care department is mainly responsible for supervising, inspecting and guiding patriotic health activities in our hospital and its jurisdiction; formulating the work plan of the department, regularly understanding the prevention work within the jurisdiction, and accumulating data; physical examination and health care of employees in our hospital; and organizing regular health examination for employees.
Scope of work of the preventive health care department:
Supervise, inspect and guide the patriotic health activities in our hospital and its jurisdiction, publicize health knowledge frequently, improve the cleaning system, and carry out disinfection and disease prevention.
Formulate the work plan of the department, regularly understand the prevention work within the jurisdiction, accumulate data, analyze the experience and lessons in the work, summarize and exchange in time, and continuously improve the level of prevention and control work.
Guide and implement the prevention of frequently-occurring diseases and infectious diseases in our hospital and its jurisdiction, pay attention to the disinfection and isolation of serial diseases, reduce and prevent the spread of infectious diseases, report the epidemic situation timely and accurately, and make statistics.
Guide and implement the research and prevention of occupational diseases and frequently-occurring diseases within the jurisdiction, organize health technicians to go deep into the grass-roots level to give professional technical guidance, and improve the technical level of health technicians in disease prevention and control and the knowledge of workers in disease prevention.
Guide and implement the maternal and child health care work in our hospital and its jurisdiction, carry out the publicity, technical guidance and inspection of family planning knowledge, and implement the general survey and treatment of women’s and children’s diseases.
Be responsible for physical examination and health care of employees in our hospital. Organize regular health examination for employees.
According to the development of health reform and preventive health care, the Department of Prevention and Protection shall actively cooperate closely with the health administrative department, establish and improve the medical prevention network in the responsible community according to the population distribution in the responsible community under the jurisdiction of our hospital, and create good medical prevention service conditions for patients and residents within the jurisdiction.
