The work carried out by the disease prevention department mainly includes infectious disease management, immunization and vaccination, and prevention and cure of schistosomiasis. Immunization program: Mainly engaged in the immunization of permanent and migrant children. Complete the annual intensive immunization of measles and poliomyelitis vaccines in the jurisdiction. Management of infectious diseases: According to the relevant provisions of the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and the Regulations on the Administration of Public Health Emergencies, the diagnosis, reporting, epidemiological investigation, disinfection of epidemic spots and emergency vaccination of susceptible people of legal infectious diseases are carried out. In the aspect of prevention and cure of schistosomiasis: Carry out snail investigation in spring and autumn in schistosomiasis endemic villages; and carry out the prevention, control and monitoring of endemic diseases such as malaria and iodine deficiency disorders. Children’s health care work: Carry out children’s physical examination, set up child care clinics, and carry out systematic management of physical examination data of permanent and migrant children.
